紀念廣場區為場地內面向中山一路一側的區域，是主要的公共活動區域。該區域在功能上是服務周邊居民公共活動的場地，也是服務游覽人群紀念巴將軍活動的場地。由于使用空間的限制，現巴將軍墓缺少可供大量人群進行祭拜、紀念、文教活動的場地，所在紀念廣場區在功能上對現狀不足進行功能上的補充，與現巴將軍墓形成整體。
場地內設有兩處配套商業建筑，并結合配套商業布置有休息平臺，這既有利于提升游覽者的休息體驗，也使得場地能夠留得住游覽者，能夠保住人氣。而在廣場的主體區域，以大面積公共活動鋪裝場地為主，為附近居民和外來游客提供集散空間和集中活動場地，便于開展日常活動和節假日紀念活動。
廣場區域以燈帶和線型鋪裝為主要景觀物，以自由布置的燈帶引導視線，將人群引導向巴將軍墓方向，同時增加場地的吸引力，并提升整個區域的活力。
雕塑為市民呈現巴國文化與巴將軍的忠義精神；安靜休息區提供相對私密、安靜休息空間；紀念廣場區主題統一，紀念古代中國璀璨的傳承文化，同時為廣場的形象展示；休閑活動區是集休閑、健身、娛樂為一體的綜合活動空間。
